This week in Room 14

We have had a great start to the term in Room 14.

We have enjoyed getting back into our writing.

We have been working hard to teach Wiggles the rules at school.

He enjoys helping us to tidy up.  

On Monday we had a great time with swimming.

We will be doing swimming every Monday this term.

Yesterday we celebrated that we there had been 100 school days so far this year.

We did a lot of counting to 100 songs and played some games about 100.

Then we made a special 100 days snack.

One of our favourite counting songs is the big numbers song.

We can count to 100 and to even bigger numbers.

Sing this song with us at home - we love to guess the decades and sing them before the song ie: 20, 30 etc.

Pyjama Day

To celebrate the end of a long and eventful term we had a pyjama day today.

We had lots of fun.

We brought our special friends to school.

They had fun doing some exercise songs with us this morning.

Then we had a pyjama day treasure hunt.

We had to find people with all sorts of different kinds of pyjamas.

It was a little bit like being a detective.

After that we made some delicious hot chocolates to drink.

We even had marshmellows in them.

After morning tea we did some great descriptive writing about our pyjamas or our soft toys.

My teddy is new.

My teddy looks at the rainbow.

My teddy is sleepy and funny.  

He has a funny mouth and he sleeps with me.

He plays with me.

I like my teddy too and I dance with him.

I brought my barbie book.

It is big.

My teddy is purple.

Earth doesn't know how to write his name.

It is too hard for him.

He is a boy.

I have got shark pyjamas.

My cat meows everyday.

I got Pearl when I was one.

I got Pearl from Australia.

I love Pearl.

I don't want to give Pearl away.

I like Wiggles.

He is white.

I can see two Wiggles.

It has black pants.
