SHARK ATTACK!!!!!

We have had fun this week learning about sharks and other larger sea creatures.

We spent some time exploring real whale bones and a sharks jaw.

Then we made some very cool and scary shark hats.

We know that sharks like to gobble things up and so do we.
So we made some shark cookies to gobble up.

Here are some of our favourite shark action songs.
We would love you to sing along with us :-)

Our trip to the Rocky Shore

Today the Rainbow Team went to the Island Bay marine centre.
We had so much fun.

It was fun going on the bus with our friends and seeing lots of exciting things out of the window.

The first thing we did was explore the rock pools and collect sea creatures in our buckets.

Next we went into the aquarium to look at and even touch some of the sea creatures.  It was so much fun touching and feeling the different textures.

After lunch we had lots of fun playing at the playground.

And then it was time to go home.
Some of us were feeling a little bit tired.

It was such a fun day.
Thanks so much to our wonderful parent helpers.
Perhaps your family might like to visit the rock pools or the Island Bay Marine Centre over the summer holidays.
