You Need to Know...

Reminders

• Children need their bookbags every day. They will bring home a reading book every day. Sometimes this will be one they have read before, and that is fine. Re-reading books is a fantastic way to increase fluency.  Most days children will also bring home their Early Words folder.  Please read this at home and return to school every day.
• Children need to wait outside the library on the top court, until the bell goes at 8.30 each morning.
• Please wait outside the classroom until your child is released at the end of the day.

Term Two Timetable

Wednesdays

Wednesday is our swimming day in Term 2.  We will be having swimming lessons provided through EasySwim school.  These lessons are very beneficial.  Please ensure you child has their togs, towel, googles, swimming cap each Wednesday.  A note is required if your child is unable to swim.

Library day. Please remind your children to bring their library books back and exchange them for new ones.

Fridays

Arts day and assembly every fortnight.

Poem day. A poem will go home each Friday. Please make sure that you read their poem at least once over the weekend. They can bring their poems book back on Monday to make sure it's there for Friday.
