Rainbow Discovery Day

Today we had a great day learning about rainbows and rainbow colours.

We read lots of stories and sang lots of colour songs. 

We even danced with rainbow ribbons.

Then we did some rainbow activities.

We had a lot of fun pouring and mixing the rainbow rice.

We did make quite a bit of mess, so it was lucky we have lots of children who are wonderful at helping tidy up.

 Some of us made rainbow pictures on the computer using Kidpix.

Some of us did some rainbow art and craft activities.

Some of us threaded some rainbow beads and made bracelets and necklaces.

At maths time, we had fun recognising dice patterns and counting and making groups with rainbow M and M's.

We even got to eat our maths work today!

It sure was a colourful and fun day.
