Independent Learning

When we are not working with Robyn in a maths, reading or writing group we choose what we would like to do.

We can choose from a variety of activities.

Here is some of our great independent, self directed learning from this week.

Maisie chose to make patterns on the pegboards.  Can you see what picture she made?

Eddie chose to write a shopping list for Greedy Cat.

Kalae chose to follow the plans and make construction with the Mobilo.

He is really good at following the plans and checking that they look the same.

Arnav chose to make patterns using the Connect 4 game.  Can you see the pattern he made?  I wonder what other patterns he could make?

Hana chose to use the collage materials to create pictures and cards for people.  She has amazing creative skills.

 Heze and Lachlan chose to work together to make a picture using the mosaic shape magnet board.  They then told us a story about their picture.

Some of us even like to bring work in that we have been doing at home and share it with the class.

I wonder what amazing things we will create and share this week.
