AMAZING AUTHORS

In Room 14 this year we are working really hard on becoming independent writers.

We do a lot of fun things to give us ideas about our writing and we all have goals we try to meet.

Today, we blew bubbles and wrote stories about blowing bubbles.

Here we are blowing bubbles in the hall.

Here is some of our amazing writing and the goals we are meeting.

Ruby's goal is to use finger spaces in her writing.

Look at the great finger spaces and also the amazing describing words in Ruby's writing.

Josh's goal is to write his ideas independently.

Look at the way Josh got on with the job and wrote his ideas.
He found some resources to help him and I am super impressed with the way he used punctuation in his writing.

Amelia's goal is to extend her writing past one sentence.
Today she wrote two sentences.  I wonder how many sentences she will write tomorrow?

Jaxson's goal is to hear and record sounds independently.
Jaxson has done a great job writing "I like trucks."
Jaxson does pretty amazing illustrations too.

I am so proud of my amazing authors and the way that everyone is meeting their writing goals and becoming independent and motivated writers.
Keep up the great work Room 14!!!!
