Room 14 love writing

This week in Room 14 we have been learning to read and write the word like.

We have been reading several stories about 'Greedy Cat'.

Greedy cat likes to eat lots of things.

We pretended to be Greedy Cat and write sentences about what we would like to eat.

We had to make sure -

- Wrote our sentence starter I like

 - We put finger spaces between our words

- We put fullstops at the end of our sentences

- Our writing matched our pictures

- We heard the sounds of words we didn't know how to spell

- We highlighted 'like' in our writing.

- We wrote more than one sentence.
