As part of our emergency services Inquiry and also our maths we have been learning our phone numbers. This is in case we need to phone home in an emergency or let someone know our phone number.
The first thing we did was learn to write our numbers correctly and in order.
We did this on the shape of a phone.
The next thing we did was go outside and draw big phones on the concrete with chalk. We were getting really good at writing our numbers by then.
We then had lots of fun jumping on the numbers in our phone number to help us remember them.
Lastly, we made our own cell phones out of milk cartoons.
We had to order the number stickers to make the buttons and then we could decorate our phones.
We had lots of fun pretending to call each other up.

wow what amazing looking cell phones, some of your very proud students came to show me their phones and we had some pretend conversations on them. Keep up with your clever number sequencing room 14.
